Eggs purchased from a food store or used for daily consumption are not infertile eggs, which implies that if placed in a hatchpro egg incubator, they will not develop to chicks. Fertile eggs are obtained from hatcheries or chicken farms. Hatching eggs have a different color than regular eggs.
As per standard hatching eggs should be stored in a cool area with temperatures ranging from 16 to 18 degrees Celsius for a maximum of four days to ensure optimal hatching results. Humidity levels range from 40% to 60% relative humidity. Avoid storing hatching eggs in the refrigerator. Normally, people do not have access to a cool room where they may store their eggs. So, our recommendation is to keep the eggs in a cool area in the house. In addition, eggs should not be kept for more than 3-4 days.
On the 6th to 8th day, begin candling the eggs. For this, 10% of the eggs were candled to analyze the embryo's development, veins, and other features. At the 6th to 8th day, there is no need to candle all of the eggs. All eggs candling should be done before start of hatching day so that infertile and underdeveloped eggs can be removed .
Note: - Do not keep the eggs outside of incubator for 10-15 Minutes.
Candling is the process of shining a light through eggs to examine the growth of the chicks. This will confirm that the incubator is in good working order. Observations made during the candling process
a) If the interior of the eggs is transparent, meaning that there are no dark patches or veins, then egg is infertile. Take the eggs out of the incubator.
b) If you can see the veins and embryo, this egg is healthy.
